Black cumin is an annual flowering plant in the family Ranunculaceae. Its Latin name is Nigella Sativa and is mostly known by the black seed fruit. Beware as this plant is not Cumunum cyminum which can be found in every shop.

Black cumin is also known as divine plant and is in fact mentioned in the Bible and Quran as well. This is not a coincidence as this spiritual plant is used as a remedy for healing numerous health ailments.

The black cumin is known as an effective cure for thousands of years. The Ancient Egyptians have used it for treating headaches, colds, toothaches and infections. They also used it for improving digestion.
